Empowering People. Building Futures. Strengthening Communities.
Peel Career Assessment Services Inc. (PCAS) is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential through career development, employment support, training, and empowerment programs.
Since our establishment, PCAS has been committed to guiding individuals across all walks of life — from newcomers and job seekers to youth, seniors, and professionals — as they navigate their personal and professional journeys in Canada. Our focus is on creating meaningful opportunities that lead to long-term success, independence, and inclusion.
Our Mission
To empower individuals to identify, develop, and achieve their career and life goals through accessible, high-quality employment, vocational, and training services that strengthen both people and the communities they live in.
Our Vision
A community where everyone has the tools, confidence, and support to build fulfilling careers and contribute meaningfully to society.
What We Do
At PCAS, we believe that career success begins with the right guidance and opportunities. We provide a wide range of personalized programs and services designed to help individuals enhance their employability, upgrade their skills, and achieve self-sufficiency.
1. Employment Services
Our employment specialists assist job seekers in finding opportunities that align with their goals. We offer career counseling, resume and interview preparation, and job placement support to help participants successfully enter or re-enter the workforce.
2. Vocational Assessment and Evaluation
Through in-depth assessments, we help individuals identify strengths, interests, and abilities to determine suitable career paths. These evaluations are particularly valuable for people exploring new career directions or recovering from injury or illness.
3. Language Training
We offer language programs tailored for internationally trained professionals and newcomers, helping them build confidence in communication and adapt to Canadian workplace culture.
4. Newcomer Services
Our newcomer support programs provide essential settlement guidance, ensuring new Canadians can make informed decisions about employment, education, and daily life in their new community.
5. Digital Literacy Program
We equip participants with essential computer and digital skills — including Microsoft Office, online safety, and virtual communication — empowering them to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
6. Youth Trusteeship Program
Focused on financial literacy and personal growth, this program helps youth gain independence, manage their finances responsibly, and prepare for adulthood.
7. Customer Service Program
Our customer service training provides participants with the communication, professionalism, and workplace skills needed to succeed in the retail and service industries.
8. Work Hardening and Conditioning
This program supports individuals recovering from injury or illness by restoring physical and functional abilities for a safe return to work.
9. Seniors Program
We offer a range of activities and community connections for seniors, helping them stay active, engaged, and socially connected.
